Sharilyn first contacted me in early December of this year for a family session. She recently moved to El Paso & is also a talented photographer (check out her beautiful work) originally from Nevada. I usually don’t get the opportunity to photograph other photographers; I was excited but also nervous at the same time. Luckily, Shari and her family were so genuine, fun, honest and filled with so much laughter, that they made my job so easy.

When I asked about what she wanted captured, she mentioned “I want to remember the boys’ youthful smiles since they are growing so fast.” We can all definitely relate to our children growing so quickly, right friends?!

We also talked about capturing their gender reveal during the session which they recorded through facebook live to their friends and family. It was such a special session to be a part of and I am happy to share some of my favorites below. Enjoy!
