It’s amazing how big social media has grown over the past couple years and through it, I have met so many creative entrepreneurs, bloggers, mothers, designers, photographers … the list goes on. Luckily, many of them have become really good friends that have kept in touch outside the online platforms. The online community can often become a wonderful place to meet new individuals who can relate to our experiences, but when the relationships are left in the cyber world, it takes away from that real life communication and experience that we are missing out on. It always takes one person to make the effort to change things and make real life relationships happen. Meet, Jeannie Stringfields. Yesterday I attended an beautiful event she hosted, held at Whole Foods in El Paso.
Jeannie invited many of the local El Paso creative community that she has met online, instagram and facebook. What better way than to host something with food, drinks, and crafts in time for the Holiday Season. The event was a lot of fun and I got to meet so many new amazing girl bosses that I had no idea lived in El Paso and were doing wonderful things. Jeannie gave us her holiday tips and we also got to create beautiful magnolia pumpkins. As usual, I snapped a couple photos of the event, enjoy!
Hope to see you at the next event!
